Getting Used to the Bike

It’s been a long year since the last big adventure to Cape Breton. We headed out after our packing, errands and work around 2:00. The weather was partly cloudy, and a little breeze to make the riding comfortable with coats and gear. We traveled 69 to 94 until we got off the highway for gas in Galesburg. The sky was getting blacker and people at the gas station remarked “hope you are going East”. We started off as it began to rain lightly and stopped under an overpass to let the weather go past us.

When it looked like it was going to last, we geared up in rainsuits and headed off.

Despite the rain, the ride on M 37 was so pretty toward Traverse City.

We got to our destination in Traverse City and had nice family time with Uncle Bob, Pam and family.
